Mystic Kailasha

The Gateway to treasures

At 159 kms from Rishikesh, Mystic Kailasha is strategically located a few corners before the bifurcation of Kedarnath &  Badrinath highways at Kund. As most tourist whether in private cars or Buses typically reach Guptkashi late afternoon & evening, the journey beyond Kund can be a  nightmare during Peak hours. While styaing at Mystic Kailasha one can avoid peak hour congestion.

For guests visiting Kedarnath Triyuginarayan, Guptkashi or Tungnath, Chopta, Deoriatal, Madmaheshwar & Badrinath and are looking for the perfect balance of comfort & convenience, Mystic Kailasha offers the perfect option.

KEDARNATH

The first of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage sites is also the highest among the 12 Jyotirlingas and has over 1 million visitors in the 6 months window period it is open for. It can be reached by combination of travel modes such as Air, Rail & Road from across the country and internationally.

From Mystic Kailasha most of the Kedarnath Heli service providers are conveniently located within 15-25 kms range. Thus making it very convenient for our guests to leave for Kedarnath after a sumptuous breakfast  and ideally return by noon or worst case by early evening. Next day without having to rush after breakfast one can continue their onwards journey back or ahead, commonly to Tungnath & Bardinath.

Alternatively guests can also take the 16 km walking path starting from Gaurikund via Sonprayag.

Chopta, Tungnath, Chandrashila

At 3680 meters Tungnath it is the highest of the Panch Kedars and also the highest known Shiv Temple. Enroute from Kedarnath to Badrinath, via Kund the temple is a short 2.5 km one way trek from Chopta Market.

Chopta (35 km from  Mystic Kailasha), also commonly called Mini Switzerla, of India is a very popular tourist destination during both Summer & Winters. The gentle sloped meadows which are covered with lush green grass in Summer, transforms in winter to a blanket of snow and offers some of the most stunning views of the Himalayan Range. Chopta Valley offers numerous summer & winter trekking options for beginner & intermediate level trekkers. While numerous budget stay options are available in Chopta, one needs to keep in mind that  being in the middle of the Protected Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary none of the Camps or Cottages have electricity connection and during the harsh winters when temp dips to as low as -15 Deg C, there is a scarcity of flowing water making living conditions extreme.

Saari & Deoriatal

Deoriatal is an emerald lake perched at a height of 2438 mts above sea level. During the early morning on a clear day, Deoriatal Tal blesses the tourists with miraculous reflections of Chaukhamba peaks on its crystal clear water.  Deoriatal is an easy trek for beginners. However if one wishes he can plan to extend it to overnight and return next day but  including Bisuri Tal, Chopta via Rohini Bugyal and even to Tungnath & Chandrashila.

Typically after spending the entire day at Chopta n Tungnath or Saari n Deoriatal and more importantly before the temperatures force one to stay indoors under layers of blankets, guests still have the time to make it back to Mystic Kailasha via a quick stopover for the evening Aarti(Prayer) at the Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath which is the winter home of both Lord Kedarnath & Lord Madhmaheswar.

Triyuginarayan

Triyuginarayan is believed to be the places where the Celestial wedding of Lord Shiva & Parvati took place. Many visitors driving upto Sonprayag often club the two together. The centre of attraction of this place is the Trijuginarayan temple dedicated to the preserver, Lord Vishnu.

A daytime wedding followed by Prasad (Blessed Food) at Triyuginarayan can be planned before getting back to the comforts of Mystic Kailasha for post wedding celebrations.
